Halo 5: Guardian's eSports Breakout mode gets tweaked after the beta

Halo 5: Guardians Breakout mode is going to be a little different from the beta.

Halo-5-Guardians-Beta-

Halo 5's Breakout mode - which you may recall from the beta - was geared towards eSports gameplay with its single-elimination rounds.

Following the beta, Game Informer reports that 343 Industries found that rounds were ending with ties, with the last player standing hiding from the opposing team.

To eliminate such cowardly displays, a flag has been added to Breakout mode, so you can claim victory by either slaughtering the other team or running the flag into their base.

This should even out the gameplay and ensure that rounds end in a definitive win or lose scenario.

Halo 5: Guardians is coming to Xbox One on October 27.
