EA Access will provide early access for Star Wars: Battlefront and Need for Speed

EA's biggest upcoming games will be available to trial seven days ahead of launch for EA Access members.

The Xbox Twitter account sent out a tweet confirming a week of early access for Star Wars: Battlefront, Need for Speed and NBA Live 16.

Players can try the game out, and if they decide to buy it any progress they made will carry over.

This is a system they have previously implemented with games like Madden 16 and Battlefield Hardline. It's likely to become standard practice for their sports and multiplayer titles going forward.

We learned yesterday that Battlefield: Hardline will be coming to the subscription service's vault next month too.

EA Access costs $5 per month, or $30 for a full year, and is exclusive to Xbox One.
