Destiny: The Taken King quests from Red Bull promotion are now available

Destiny: The Taken King is out today, and this means the Red Bull promotion which nets players a new in-game quest is also live.

Players will need to grab a code from limited edition Destiny Red Bull cans in order to acquire the six stage quest.

It takes place in the Tower where players will receive the quest from the shipwright, Amanda Holiday. The first step will send players on an "Energy Spike" patrol mission where they have to test their agility.

Next, players will have to complete a cooperative strike in less than 18 minutes. After those two tasks, players must enter the Crucible and take on the Rift.

As if that weren't enough, players will have to complete two more strikes, the second of which must be defeated in less than 18 minutes.

Rewards are as follows with images posted below:

  • Complete the first strike - get a SR0 Swifter Trick Sparrow.
  • Finish the multiplayer challenges - get the Joyride Ghost.
  • Master the final challenges - enjoy an upgrade to the SR0 Swifter Sparrow which turns into the faster SR1 Swifter Sparrow.

Select cans also offer the one-time consumable Focused Light which provides a Bonus XP buff for 30 minutes. The Red Bull cans feature Destiny and eSports athlete Flamesword and the XP bonus is available via four-pack cans from Walmart.

The redemption code from the Red Bull cans is valid in Destiny: The Taken King through January 1.

Codes can be redeemed through this website.
