Heroki is an excellent SEGA platform game that launched just a few weeks ago at $7.99 and is now on sale for $1.99. Heroki is beautifully designed, there’s plenty to do with lots of levels, side quests, and mini games. What stands out most here however is the beautiful art design worthy of a Triple A console release. Pick it up now while you can.

The best FREE iOS games this week

The Path To Luma (iPad, iPhone)

The Path To Luma is a puzzle game about sustainable energy. No seriously. It’s takes place on 20 rotating worlds filled with smaller puzzles. The presentation is really excellent and the renewable energy message is delivered in very clever and interesting ways throughout. It all plays out much much better than you’d expect. Definitely worth a look.

Mazecraft (iPad, iPhone)

In Mazecraft you build mazes and share them with other players and friends. There’s a vast amount of elements you can use to construct your mazes such as rolling boulders, turrets, hidden pits, and more. When people play your mazes you earn gold used to buy more maze elements. You can even watch replays of your friends playing your mazes. Tremendous fun.

SBK15 – Official Mobile Game (iPad, iPhone)

SBK15 is the official game of the Superbike World Championship. What you get here, for free, is a console quality motor bike racer. The presentation is fantastic, the graphics are smooth, the controls work well, and there’s a full array of tracks, bikes, and riders. You get the first 3 tracks for free and the rest are available via a single $3 IAP. Recommended for race fans.
