A new Company of Heroes 2: The British Forces developer diary has been released, and it’s part two of the From History to Gameplay series from Relic Entertainment.
In the video, lead game designer Quinn Duffy goes over the core gameplay, new features, and how the British army is represented. It also explores the real-life tactics employed by Winston Churchill’s soldiers and how they are reflected through “the Hammer and Anvil paradigm.”
It also takes a look at the infantry’s effectiveness in cover along with the diversity of the combined Great Britain and New Zealand forces.
Company of Heroes 2: The British Forces is a standalone multiplayer expansion pack, and comes with six commanders, 15 units and eight multiplayer maps.
Those who have a Company of Heroes title in their Steam library will get 20% off on the pre-order.
The expansion will be made available on September 3 for $12.99/£9.99.
