The Farm 51's shooter Get Even is out next year with Namco Bandai as publisher

We've heard little to nothing about The Farm 51's current-gen shooter since last year, but rest assured: it's still in the works.

Namco Bandai announced today it will publish the psychological thriller, and that it will be released sometime next year.

“We are very proud to be collaborating with The Farm 51 on this promising title” said Herve Hoerdt, said the firm's boss of the European arm. "Get Even will definitely be a key title in the upcoming year; with its movie-like approach and its mature and intimate story, all players should keep an eye on this game.”

Originally announced in 2013 for release in 2015, Get Even makes use of two intertwined narratives: choices made by the players in the campaign will determine the character’s personality with elements of horror tossed in the mix.

The single-player portion of the game will feature enemies which also exist in the world of players online. This means players will never know if the enemy they are fighting is AI or if there is a real person controlling it.

Get Even is in development for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
