Yakuza 5 is coming west and bringing many authentic insights into Japanese life with it. Apparently.
The latest in Sega's behind-the-scenes Yakuza 5 videos answers some burning questions from series fans, namely: are hostess clubs real? Like really real? The way they're depicted in-game?
According to Yakuza Studio: yes. All the stories are based on real-life anecdotes. Welp.
The video also details Yakuza 5's super moves and how the team has always wanted to show how painful street fighting really is, among other delights.
