Konami has revealed the technical specs for all versions of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. There's also a set of image comparisons posted as well.

The game's rendering resolution is 1080p on PlayStation 4, and 900p on Xbox One. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions render at a much lower 720p and 30 frames-per-second. The steam version supports up to 4K resolutions.

If you remember, Konami published a similar article around the launch of Ground Zeroes. Only then, the Xbox One version had a 720p rendering resolution.

It's important to note that both the PS4 and Xbox One versions run at 60fps, which is impressive. Whether or not either console can maintain that frame-rate remains to be seen.

The Phantom Pain is out September 1.
