We’ve just snuck onto the gamescom showfloor to photograph the set-up of some of the biggest blockbuster games coming this year. Stealth pics inside!
Gamescom officially kicks off today with Microsoft’s press conference (which we’re liveblogging here) but we’ve managed to stealth our way onto the showfloor to grab some photographs and see just exactly what will be taking center stage at Europe’s biggest gaming event this week.
Armed with a camera and carrying empty boxes in order to blag our way inside, we managed to check out Microsoft, Sony, Konami and more booths until we were rumbled by security and politely escorted from the premises.
These aren’t the only games on the showfloor as gamescom is massive, but so far we’ve spotted; Project Morpheus, Street Fighter 5, Ratchet & Clank, Guitar Hero Live, Destiny: The Taken King, Uncharted Collection, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on Sony’s stand.
Over in a different hall is Microsoft with Halo 5: Guardians, Rare Replay, Killer Instinct, Gigantic, We Happy Few, Warhammer: End Time – Vermintide, Forza 6, Cuphead, Fable Legends, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Quantum Break.
Elsewhere we saw Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, Rainbow 6: Siege, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, Dark Souls 3 and PES 2016.
Blizzard is representing with a massive set up for Heroes of the Storm, Heathstone and Overwatch.
Don’t take our word for it, check out the photos below before we get busted by the Po 9.
