Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut will be released in October

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players can pick up Wasteland 2: Director's Cut in October.

inXile Entertainment announced a release date for the console version today.

Owners of the PC version will get the upgrade for free.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game were announced in March of this year.

The Director's Cut contains updated visuals, new Perks & Quirks for in-game characters, Precision Strikes and redesigned combat encounters, more voices, a new interface and controller support.

Those heading to gamescom next week can try the console version out for themselves.

Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut will be released on October 13.
