Miyamoto's Project Giant Robot is also skipping 2015

There is another anticipated Nintendo project that was listed as "TBD" in the company's latest financial report.

Nintendo released the financial report for the first quarter of FY2015 the other day. The compnay usually reserves a spot for upcoming games and their expected release dates or windows.

In that spot, Nintendo listed The Legend of Zelda Wii U as "TBD" instead of 2016. Shigeru Miyamoto's Giant Robot project was also listed as "TBD", which doesn't fill us with a lot of confidence.

Giant Robot was unveiled at E3 2014, along with another called Project Guard. Both were pitched as 2015 games, and the latter is still tentatively pegged for a 2015 release, according to the document.

It's unlikely the project will skip the Wii U for the NX as it was originally imagined as a way to utilise the console's gamepad.
