It appears Warner Bros. has found a director for the Five Nights At Freddy’s movie.

According to a Deadline report, the production company has enlisted Poltergeist director Gil Kenan to head the live-action adaptation of Scott Cawthon's video game series.

Kenan will also co-write the script with Tyler Burton Smith.

Other than the Poltergeist remake, Kenan also directed the 2006 film Monster House which was executive produced by Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg. It was nominated for a 2006 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 is available now and an expansion is planned for Halloween.
