Destiny: pimp your Airsoft with 3D printed Thorn shell

Destiny has provided inspiration for some incredible 3D printed props, but this is the first one I've seen that actually fires.

This 3D-printed Thorn replica has been built to scale and can be assembled in place around an Airsoft pistol, so you can actually shoot things with it. Hnnngh!

Unlike the real Thorn, this one doesn't inflict a poison status making it the most-used PvP weapon of all time (hello, September rebalance).

Creator Kirby Downy has made the plans available for download on MyMiniFactory, because they're clearly a generous as well as talented sort.

Thanks, Gamespot.
