KOTOR 2 updated with 5K support, Steam Workshop compatibility

A large PC update is being released for KOTOR 2 today and Linux, Mac and SteamOS users can finally get in on the fun as well.

According to an update on Steam, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords goes on sale on Steam and Apple's Mac App Store for $10. It's also on sale for $7.49 until July 28.

Along with support for 5K resolution, the game now supports widescreen, Steam Achievements, Steam Workshop and Steam Cloud services along with controller support.

The Sith Lords Restored Content mod is now available for the game through Steam Workshop as well (thanks, Hcw87).

The mod was released in 2012 and restores content cut from KOTOR 2 by Obsidian, which was pushed by LucasArts to get the game out into the wild back in 2004.
