Professional Counter-Strike player admits "we were all on Adderall"

The professional eSports scene for Counter-Strike is apparently in need of some regulation.

North American professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Kory "Semphis" Friesen admitted that "everybody" does Adderall at eSports events.

Speaking to YouTube channel LAUNDERS CSTRIKE in an interview, Friesen said that it was pretty obvious in his team's communication in one game. The game in question was part of an ESL event held in Poland.

"I don’t even care", he said. "We were all on Adderall. I don’t even give a f**k. It was pretty obvious if you listened to the comms. People can hate it or whatever."

Adderall is an amphetamine used to enhance a person's concentration for longer periods of time, and is often prescribed in cases of ADHD. Friesen, who plays for Nihilum and is also a CLG Red coach hesitated for a second before admitting.

The fact that he publicly stated this should raise a huge red flag about eSports and the sort of rules that govern it.
