Palutena amiibo out next week as Amazon-exclusive

An amiibo of Kid Icarus goddess Palutena will be an Amazon exclusive in North America, the retailer announced on Twitter.

Those who wish to know more information about this particular amiibo, can sign up to receive an email which contains more information about how to order. Emails will go out to customers on July 22.

Palutena is the goddess of light and ruler of Skyworld who watches over Pit, users her powers to help him and sends him messages telepathically.

Amazon is not taking pre-orders, and she'll be limited to one per customer. Those who sign up for the email will be notified ahead of time when the amiibo goes on sale.

Over on Reddit, and Amazon rep stated there will be "a lot more stock" than any other amiibo yet.

"If you show up on time, you should be able to get one," said the representative.

Palutena will be usable in Super Smash Bros. New 3DS XL and Wii U. The amiibo is slated for release on July 24.
