Fallout super fan makes his own real-life Pip-Boy replica 

You don't need to buy Fallout 4's expensive collector's edition if you know what you're doing.

Fallout 4's Pip-Boy Edition comes with a real-life replica of the classic gadget. That thing is already sold out everywhere though.

The next logical step is of course to make one yourself. Which is what Redditor TheMCV did.

What you see is a 3D-printed armband with a Raspberry Pi computer inside it. It functions similarly to the one in-game, thanks to a custom UI. Unfortunately, the Pip-Boy doesn't have dials, so he's controlling it with a keyboard.
