PlayStation Plus games will be available on the same day for US and EU

PlayStation Plus users in Europe will start getting their monthly free games on Tuesday, just like their North American buddies.

Sony fans in Europe have always had to wait an extra day to get the free PlayStation Plus games each month. The games would go live on Tuesday on the North American PSN, and on Wednesday in Europe.

Starting this July, everyone will be on equal footing, according to Sony's Fred Dutton.

"As of this month, Plus games go live in both EU and US on the first Tuesday of the month (no longer Wednesday in EU)," he said. "The first Tuesday in July is 7th July, hence why the games aren't launching this week."

We're expecting to learn this month's line-up tomorrow or after, as is usually the case with these reveals.

If you still haven't grabbed June's free games, make sure you do so before they're pulled.
