Activision and Red Bull have teamed up for a new Destiny promotion, through which players will get access to a new in-game quest.
As previously reported through a leak, Red Bull, through a new partnership with Bungie and Activision, will offer Destiny-branded cans in the US and Canada that give players bonus XP boosts, as well as access to a new quest in-game. Codes can be redeemed through this website.
The quest is a multi-stage mission that will “test the speed and strategic abilities of players in new ways.” It will be available following the launch of The Taken King expansion in September. The bonus XP, a one-time consumable that increases all experience gain by 50% over 30 minutes, can be used throughout the summer.
Specially-marked cans will launch in July exclusively through 7-Eleven stores, with a full roll-out in August. 4-packs will be made available around the expansion’s launch through Walmart and will come with a “Mega XP Accelerator.”
