The latest issue of Famitsu - translated by siliconera - reveals that once a character reaches S-rank, they are able to get married, as well as unlocking children to add to the party. The magazine indicated that there will be some restrictions when it comes to getting hitched, but exact details haven't been shared.

The children from marriages will take on the characteristics of their parents. A girl called Kanna had the same hair colour as her mother - the Maid Felicia who serves the male protagonist.

Another child, whose parents are Tsukuyomi and Orochi, also has the same hair colour as her mother.

Fire Emblem Fates, known as Fire Emblem If in Japan will be released next year for the 3DS.
