DayZ creator Dean Hall is making a game for SteamVR

Dean Hall, creator of DayZ, is making a virtual reality game for Valve's SteamVR.

Talking to Eurogamer about his plans for VR games, Hall said that his studio RocketWerkz were looking into virtual reality for future titles.

Hall is already working on a project with Valve and it sounds like the new one hasn't made it past an idea at this stage, with Improbable's Nick Button-Brown chiming in "You have one other project - that's just kind of in your head that other one."

Hall replied "Well no because I kind of told Valve I'd do it, so... I kinda have to, right?" He confirmed to Eurogamer that it's this game that will be made for SteamVR.

Dean Hall debuted his new game Ion at E3 during the Microsoft press conference.

The game is an MMO set in space built with Improbable Tech, and is coming first to PC and Xbox One through the Xbox Game Preview program.
