Don't expect the Champions League in FIFA any time soon

FIFA 16, 17 and 18 won't feature Champions League content.

FIFA rival PES has the Champions League rights, and apparently intends to hold onto them.

Eurogamer reports Konami has signed a three year extension to its deal with UEFA, starting with PES 2016.

It's probably not fair to begrudge Konami this one bit of exclusivity since EA Sports has locked down pretty much everything else.

The first trailer for PES 2016 turned up this week, revealing Brazilian pro Neymar da Silva Santos Junior as the cover athlete. More details are promised on June 12.
