Starting Tuesday, June 9, Sledgehammer will implement a few changes to how loot works in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Two new rarities will be introduced, Legendary and Retired.

Legendary gear will be earned through Supply Drops and Advanced Supply Drops. The first will be the Sentinel CI Gear Set, which will only be awarded to the first player to reach Grand Master Prestige. The set pieces will be highlighted in purple when found.

As for the Retired, they're basically decommissioned items that were previously part of the loot you could get. Anyone who has access to them already, won't lose them, but they will no longer drop.

The date above refers to Xbox platforms, PC and PlayStation will receive the updates later.
