Nintendo US eShop update: Mega Man Zero 3, Don’t Starve: Giant Edition, Splatoon

Nintendo has updated the North American end of the eShop with Don’t Starve: Giant Edition, Mega Man Zero 3, and come tomorrow, Splatoon will be made available through the service.

Activities

Miiverse Ink-redible Splatoon Sweepstakes - Head over to Miiverse for an opportunity to win Splatoon. A new community called “Miiverse Ink-redible Splatoon Sweepstakes” is open under the Play Nintendo community from May 26 until June 30. Visit the community here, which is already full of ink-redible drawings. To participate, just post your Splatoon fan art in the community. You can enter every week for your chance to win Splatoon.

Best Buy StreetPass Event - To celebrate the Nintendo World Championships 2015 qualifying events, a special StreetPass event will take place exclusively in all Best Buy locations in the United States and Canada from May 29 to May 31. Bring your Nintendo 3DS system with you to your closest Best Buy store to enhance StreetPass-enabled games you already own, such as Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. It’s also a great opportunity to collect Mii characters from new locations to help fill up puzzle panels in Puzzle Swap and help out in StreetPass Mii Plaza games.

Pokemon Shuffle Update - A major Pokemon Shuffle update is now available. This update marks the debut of new features and stages. This update includes the new Super Catch Power feature so now Pokémon become easier to catch than before. Improvements to gameplay include How Hearts Accumulate, Checking Out Pokemon and Combo Numbers Shown Longer. These are just a few of the adjustments being made to the game.

Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. “amiibo Agent” Tournament - See how your Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. squad stacks up online in Nintendo’s Public Tournaments. Top players earn unique titles that are visible online and earn major bragging rights with their friends and around the world. The new “amiibo Agent” tournament runs from May 28 to May 31. Opt in via the SpotPass feature for notifications about future tournaments and click here for more information about multiplayer tournaments.
