Missing Persons is one of the last quests in the Skellige arc of The Witcher 3: Act One.
The Witcher 3: Missing Persons
It’s worthwhile taking a trip to the nearby town of Larvik before this mission, to collect side quests from the board and residents, sharpen your blade and tighten your armour. Making this trip will open an extra signpost, too.
If you didn’t travel with Yennefer she’s a bit snippy about having to wait, but if you wanted pleasant you should have romanced Triss in Novigrad. This is an ongoing theme.
Trot to the village and speak with the women there. Don’t be afraid to ask Yennefer to be polite in this situation. When you’ve gathered all the information you can, follow Yennefer towards Freya’s Garden. Ignore your HorsePS; it’s going the sensible way, unlike Yennefer.
There is a quest break here, and it’s an important one, as towards the end of the next quest, you’ll be unable to leave the area and will proceed to the end of Act One – assuming you’ve completed Novigrad and Velen.
Save your game, fast travel to sidequests, go shopping – whatever you fancy – and then proceed through the almost hidden arch on the right, and up the stairs to one side, to continue with Nameless.
