Ten new features debuted in Just Cause 3 gameplay trailer
Just Cause 3's explosive new gameplay footage has a lot to say about what Avalanche has packed into its latest open-world action thriller.
Just Cause 3 got its first gameplay trailer today, and it was smashing.
It was a pretty non-stop affair, and doubt I was alone in consuming it, burbling "brilliant", and then moving on with my day. But developer Avalanche Studios would like to point out that the trailer communicated a number of new features appearing in the series for the first time. These features are:
- wingsuit
- multi-tether
- massive explosions
- cascading destruction
- the "Reeled Hang"
- destructible vegetation
- monorail trains
- serious miniguns
- bridge destruction
- stunting
There's a blog post on the Just Cause website with more details of all of these, which I have resisted the urge to rewrite in its entirety in even more excited tones. That "massive explosions" one actually caused me to gibber a little bit when I read it. I am part of the problem, yes.
Just Cause 3 is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One at the end of the year.
