Finn and Jake investigate things in new Adventure Time game

Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations is a new 3D game in the Cartoon Network series and is coming to multiple platforms.

According to developer Vicious Cycle Software, the game is a modern take on classic adventure games. It features exploring, investigating, and puzzle-solving and interaction with various characters from the TV series.

There's also combat and foes will drop collectibles and loot which will appear in the treasure room of Finn and Jake's treehouse.

Locations include Wizard City, Castle Lemongrab (Unacceptable!!!!) and the Candy and Fire Kingdoms.

Here's the story synopsis:

Jake’s mother and father, who also raised Finn – were seasoned detectives back in the days before becoming parents. They received their assignments from a machine called the “tickertype,” which printed out information on various cases. Now, Finn and Jake have unearthed the tickertype and decide to go into the investigation business themselves.

The story and the adventures which are tied to it are not part of single arc, but played as a series of separate - but linked - episodes which take place during the show's sixth season.

Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations will be released this fall on PC, 3DS, PlayStation 3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
