Project Cars runs at 60 fps on both consoles, supports up to 12K on PC

Project Cars is going to look glorious on every platform, apparently.

Project Cars will run at 60 fps on both PS4 and Xbox One, Slightly Mad has confirmed.

There is some platform disparity - the PS4 version runs at 1080p, while the Xbox One release will only support 900p.

The developer said in September it was aiming for 1080p on both consoles, but hasn't quite managed it.

According to the FAQ confirming the final resolution and frame rate, the PC version is pretty scalable. If you have the hardware to support it, you can run resolutions up to 12K, with an uncapped frame rate. Phwoar.

Project Cars hits all three platforms in mid-May. It is also coming to SteamOs, and a Wii U version has been promised.

Interestingly, the FAQ mentions that a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 release was not possible due to hardware limitations; I'm surprise the Wii U is up to it, in that case.

Thanks, Gamespot.
