Free-to-play shooter Ghost in the Shell Online is heading west later this year

Ghost in the Shell Online, based upon the free-to-play MMOFPS Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, will be released in the west later this year.

Nexon America announced it will arrive in the UK, US, Europe, Latin America and Australia after releasing first in Korea.

In the game, players will create their own cyborg which will share abilities with nearby characters.

PVE and PVP will be supported, reports Eurogamer.

A release date was not provided.
