Bloodborne debut tops Media Create charts with over 152,000 units sold

Bloodborne's debut was strong in Japan, selling 152,567 copies within three days and landing at number one on the Media Create charts.

For the March 23-29 period, seven other titles debuted on the charts, but many were multi-platform releases such as: Sword Art Online: Lost Song, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 and Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2015.

The Vita version of Sword Art Online: Lost Song came in at number two on the chart, selling 139,298 units. The PS3 version cam in sixth with 55,090 copies sold, for a combined total of 194,388.

All three Sony platform offerings of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 landed in the top 10, selling 198,363 combined - technically making it the best-selling title for the week.

On the hardware chart, sales were rather flat week-over-week despite increased unit sales for all but two systems.

PlayStation 4, Vita, and New Nintendo 3DS LL rounded out the top three with Vita claiming the highest unit increase.

The only platforms to see a decrease in sales were Wii U and Xbox One.
