Smoke, Stryker and more spotted in latest Mortal Kombat X Kast

The latest Mortal Kombat X livestream may have revealed more than initially met the eye.

This week's Mortal Kombat X Kast revealed that Kustom Kombat and Test Your Luck modes are making a return.

In these modes you can set various modifiers, and IGN spotted a whole list of very interesting ones:

Stryker Assist
Smoke Assist
Rain Assist
Kabal Assist
Kabal Blades
Cyrax Bombs

Stryker, Smoke, Rain, Kabal and Cyrax have not been confirmed for inclusion in the fighter's roster, so why would they turn up in this list?

It's possible that these characters will appear as assist moves only, a sort of nod to their role in the Mortal Kombat universe without a full appearance in game. But it's also possible they'll be revealed soon. Huurah!

Mortal Kombat X is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One in mid-April. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions have been delayed.
