Life is Strange lip synch issue might be fixed for Season 2

Life is Strange won't be getting a lip synch fix this season.

If a second Life is Strange season happens, Dontnod might be able to do something about the slightly unnerving lip synch issue.

"To be completely honest we can't do much more for Life is Strange, season one," co-director Michel Koch told Eurogamer.

"We decided when we started the game that most of the budget should go towards the writing and voice actors - they were really what was important.

"We had to make some decisions and the way we have our character models doesn't allow us to do much more than we have. We know this is a weak point but I think that it still works. The first reaction is - ok, I see that - but most players in the end don't really care.

"Maybe season two."

I can't say I even noticed, to be often; so few games have decent lip synch that I think I've just accepted weird mouth flaps as a part of the gaming world, like decorative doors, X as the jump button, and being marginalised as a dangerous weirdo both in and outside of the hobby.
