OtherSide Entertainment has announced today that Underworld Ascendant raised a total of $860,356 in funding, exceeding its initial goal of $600,000.

13,987 backers helped the game achieve five of its stretch goals which will result in the addition of a new area, race, creatures, enhanced music, and a novel.

"As our Kickstarter campaign comes to an end, we cannot express enough how grateful we are to you, our fans and our community, for having faith in us, backing us, and helping us mould Underworld Ascendant into the game we all want it to be. This experience has been truly amazing for every one of us, something we will never forget!," said the developer.

"Now, moving forward, this grand party will head over to our website, where we will continue to keep you updated, continue to have live events, keep the chatter going on our forums, and have new votes for you to share your voice. Together, we will roll forward with the adventure of bringing Underworld Ascendant to life!"

The developer is still accepting pledges via the official website, which includes an option for PayPal.
