The PS4 release date for Final Fantasy 10/10-2 HD Remaster is May 12 in North America and May 15 in Europe.

Gematsu reports a special pre-order bonus calendar with art by Yoshitaka Amano is available through the Square Enix Store and participating retailers.

In Europe, pre-ordering the boxed version upgrades the order to include a special steelbook featureing artwork by Amano, and it is available exclusively across PAL territories.

The PS4 version has cross-save with PlayStation 3 and Vita, Remote Play with the Vita, and allows you to switch between the original and remastered soundtracks at will.

Screenshots showing how the PS4 and PS3 versions stack up are available on the RPG's Japanese website.

Perhaps because it's yet another re-release of a 13 year old game, Square Enix has been remarkable uncommunicative about this one. It was announced late last year and in the interim we'd entirely forgotten about it.
