Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor DLC The Bright Lord detailed

Details for The Bright Lord, the latest DLC in the works for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, have surfaced and as previously announced, it allows you to play as Celebrimor.

The DLC was announced as part of the Season Pass back in August 2014.

Middle-earth aficionados, or those who have played Shadow of Mordor, know him as the creator of the One Ring as well as the other Rings of Power handed out to elves, dwarves, and men.

According to Shacknews, Celebrimbor will use his own ring to fight Sauron and make use of the One Ring to turn invisible, much like Bilbo in The Hobbit.

Domination options for Celebrimbor will include AoE skills, the ability to teleport using Shadow Brand and he can regain health by sacrificing followers.

Spanning 10 new missions, the DLC contains an Elite Orc Army with more abilities, a new Challenge Mode, and a Celebrimbor skin to don for the main campaign in the game. Warchiefs and Nemesis enemies will have varied abilities due to re-balancing.

A confirmed release date was not revealed, but the Season Pass image from last year shows a release date of March 10 when purchasing the pass.

Pricing was not revealed for the DLC, but it will be free for those who own the Season Pass, and if previous DLC is any indication, it will cost $9.99 as an à la carte option.
