Hitman: Agent 47 theatrical trailer has explosions, Matrix moves

The movie trailer for Hitman: Agent 47 has been released, and it features fast cars, explosions, a helicopter destroying an office, Hannah Ware swimming in a bikini, and Zachary Quinto running around looking worried.

Timothy Olyphant isn't our bald killing machine this time out, Homeland's Rupert Friend takes on the role instead.

The film also stars Ciarán Hinds, whose latest role was Mance Rayder on Game of Thrones; Thomas Kretschmann (Dracula the TV series) and Hannah Ware (Betrayal, Shame) among others.

Here's the film's synopsis per IMDB:

"A gun-for-hire known only as Agent 47 hired by a group known only as 'The Organization' is ensnared in a political conspiracy, which finds him pursued by both Interpol and the Russian military as he treks across Russia and Eastern Europe."

At some point during all of this, he will be helping out Katia van Dees, played by Ware, in finding her father and “uncovering the mysteries of her ancestry.”

Hitman: Agent 47 arrives in theaters August 28.
