GamesBlast is an online event where streamers are invited to raise money over the period of three days. That money will go into the development of solutions to help disabled gamers enjoy video games.

Multiplay will be using Jagex' live-streaming studio in Cambridge to stream games, physical challenges, interviews and more.

Streamers can schedule their marathons over the weekend of February 20-22 to be part of this year's event.

Last year, the event raised £70,000. This year, organisers are hoping to raise over £100,000.

And finally here's a quick, video run-down of why this matters.
