Parkour pioneer David Belle acted as a consultant on Dying Light

It has been announced that actor, stunt coordinator and leading pioneer of Parkour, David Belle, consulted on Dying Light in order to bring authentic parkour to the game.

According to a press release sent over by Techland, the development team worked with Belle to "verify the depiction of parkour" in the game as well as "test its authenticity."

Belle has worked as a stunt coordinator, actor and choreographer on films such as Transporter 2, District 13, Babylon A.D., Prince of Persia, Colombiana and others. He also played Lino in Brick Mansions.

Dying Light will be available digitally worldwide on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next week on January 27.
