Has GTA 5 been delayed on PC? Rockstar says no

GTA 5 on PC is still on track for a January 27 release despite rumours to the contrary, according to Rockstar.

Over the holiday break, the release date of GTA 5 was changed several times on the game's Steam page. At one point it used to say January, then it was changed to "coming soon" and now it says "early 2015."

Worried the PC version may have been delayed, some fans took to Rockstar official forums to ask the developer directly.

"GTAV will be coming to PC on January 27th. We have not announced any changes to this date at this time," replied an official spokesperson.

Before the break, Rockstar promised it would reveal the game's PC specs, which have yet to materialise.

Of course none of this would be strange if it weren't for the fact that the game is out in less than three weeks. Steam is usually pretty solid when it comes to release dates, it will even have region-specific unlock times for some games, so you'll excuse us in thinking this is a strange occurrence.
