The Evil Within's first DLC The Assignment will land in early 2015

Bethesda has outlined its DLC plans for The Evil With in 2015, starting with The Assignment.

It's the first of two DLCs centering on Detective Castellanos’ mysterious partner, Juli Kidman.

Part 2 of her story, The Consequence, and the final DLC The Keeper will be released at a later date.

Players will assumes the role of The Keeper, or the "Boxman" as he is also referred to which Tango Gameworks describes as a “sadistic collection of mission-based maps.”

The first and second add-ons are story-driven DLC told in two parts, playing as Kidman.

Over on the Besthesda Blog, Tango Gameworks’ John Johanas discusses the inspiration behind the add-ons which "may or may not" be a nod to Dishonored: The Knife of Dunwall/ The Brigmore Witches, Enslaved: Pigsy’s Perfect 10, Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, and Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction content.
