A listing for the PlayStation 4 20th Anniversary Edition on eBay has been sold to a winning bid of $15,100.
You knew this would happen, you knew it the moment you and everybody else read the “limited quantities” line when Sony announced the 20th Anniversary Edition PS4.
Technologysupp is the name of the lucky eBay seller.
“Though the item did sell. I had to inform my customer that we were actually going to get the console in late December, contrary to the dates posted in my listing [December 9th to December 13th],” he told Gamer Headlines.
The buyer already sent the full amount via PayPal. “Money is in the bank. Sent him an eBay invoice with the grand total and was paid immediately via PayPal. No questions, doubts or anything,” he added.
If you go to eBay and type PS4 Anniversary Edition in the search bar, you’ll be greeted with hundreds of listings. Almost everyone of those listings are just images showing the seller has pre-ordered one, with an estimated delivery date of late December.
There will no doubt be more of these in the future, but it would be great to know that not everyone who bought the console aims to sell it.
