Planetside 2 PS4 now taking beta sign ups

Roll up, roll up, potentially get your name drawn for the Planetside 2 PS4 beta.
Planetside 2 PS4 is finally happening, it seems, as Sony Online Entertainment is now taking beta tester applications.
Signing up for the chance to get a beta invite is easy as pie. Just head to the dedicated portal and enter your email address. You don't even seem to need a PSN ID, although if you don't have one you won't be able to participate in the beta.
The shooter MMO has been available on PC since November 2012, and is expected to hit PS4 by the end of the year. The port was announced in June 2013, and was delayed from an early 2014 launch, so it's been quite the wait.
