You can now wear Lara Croft's short shorts in Team Fortress 2

The millions of fans who get to play and enjoy Team Fortress 2 will now have a little something extra to look forward to, thanks to recent community creations.

Tomb Contest is the name of a contest Valve announced last month to get those with talent among the Team Fortress 2 community to create Tomb Raider-themed items for use in the game.

Today, Valve announced the winners, and Lara Croft's iconic short shorts are one of them, despite Valve jokingly asking everyone to resist the temptation of wanting to see the Heavy in those shorts.

"You might remember we specifically told you not to make Heavy short shorts. However, once we actually glimpsed the majesty of Heavy short shorts, we saw the error of our ways," the development team wrote.

Other winning items include an Ancient Egyptian-themed hat and a pair of glasses.

Anyone who pre-purchases Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will be receiving the shorts, along with the other winning items, for free.
