A new addition to the series is the ability for creators to make trailers for their levels. This allows those browsing for new content to have a look at will see more than just a level badge and description, but a 30-second trailer as well.

A couple of other really neat functions new to the franchise: allowing creators to build levels with a top down perspective; and numerous character and background editing tools for animations and props with up to 16 layers. This provides many more options for creativity instead of the three layers of depth in the previous iterations.

LittleBigPlanet 3 will be made available on PlayStation 3 and PS4 November 18 in North America and November 19 in Europe.
