Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire: Latias and Latios available only via StreetPass

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire trainers who want to capture Latias and Latios will need to switch on StreetPass and hope for the best.

In Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, the only way to capture Latias and Latios is to cash in an Eon Ticket.

According to the Pokemon website, the only way to nab an Eon Ticket is via StreePass; someone who already has one needs to connect to you.

Once you have the ticket you still have to visit Southern Island and actually catch it, but that’s probably going to be easier than collecting the StreetPass. Luckily, Nintendo is going to seed a few Eon Tickets throughout the community; in North America, Play! Pokémon League Leaders will be given codes to distribute to participants at nearly a thousand Pokémon League locations.

Nintendo suggests visiting tournaments and other fan events to maximise your chances of scoring the item.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire arrives on 3DS on November 21 in North America and November 28 in Europe.
