Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Doppelganger character DLC coming next week

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel gets its first character DLC pack next week, letting you take control of Handsome Jack. Sort of.

Borderlands 2: The Pre-Sequel's Doppelganger DLC pack adds a new character to the Vault Hunter line up. At PAX Australia this weekend, Gearbox Software announced a November 11 release date for the pack.

As previously reported, the Doppelganger pack lets you play as Handsome Jack's body double.

The Doppelganger's special skill spawns two "Digi-Jacks", which will battle enemies and respawn until the skill timer runs out. That means there's potential to have four Handsome Jacks in one room at one time, and I cannot wait to see the fan art that results from this. The class's three skill trees have not been fully detailed, but Gearbox did say it can earn bonuses from collecting cash.

The DLC goes for $10, or as part of the season pass. Although we don't know all DLC plans, the pass will also include a new story campaign, a level cap boost and at least one additional character, who may or may not be this allegedly leaked Baroness class.
