Valkyria Chronicles confirmed for PC release

Valkyria Chronicles, Sega's hugely under-appreciated strategy classic, is making the jump to PC.

Valkyria Chronicles is the first in a series of stunningly gorgeous games in the tactical role playing or SRPG genre.

Released on PS3 in 2008, it wasn't a huge seller, despite critical acclaim. It spawned two sequels, but these were restricted to the PSP, and the third one never made it west. The series is now something of a cult favourite.

It looks like you'll all have the chance to catch up on what you missed, though: Sega confirmed a PC port today, with a promise of more information soon.

The announcement followed a PEGI rating outing the port.

Thanks, Gematsu.
