National StreetPass weekend announced for Halloween

Nintendo is throwing another StreetPass event for North American 3DS owners.
StreetPass opportunities will abound over the Halloween weekend, which Nintendo has declared a National StreetPass Weekend.
As with past events, Nintendo Zone hotspots will offer StreetPass hits from across the US, rather than just those that have registered locally. You can grab six at a time, so find your local hotspot and make a few visits.
Nintendo has also suggested carrying your 3DS while you go trick-or-treating, since you'll be out and mingling with so many strangers.
The event runs from October 31 through November 2.
