Nidhogg hits PS4, Vita this week

Nidhogg, the simple but nailbitingly tense indie swordfighting sim, is on its way to more platforms.

Nidhogg hits PS4 and Vita in this week's PSN update, according to the PlayStation Blog's weekly round up of new releases.

The digital title supports cross-buy and two person local multiplayer, with tournaments for up to eight people.

This date only applies to North America; although there's nothing to indicate the game won't come to Europe this week as well, the European PlayStation Blog doesn't list release dates ahead of time.

If you just can't wait, Nidhogg is also available on Mac and PC via Steam or a Humble Bundle checkout.

Thanks, Gamespot.
