Fable fans: Lionhead is extending invitations to try its new multiplayer RPG.

Fable Legends beta applications have opened.

To register your interest in trying the asymmetrical multiplayer RPG, visit the game's website. You'll need to provide and verify an email address, log in with your Xbox Live profile, and agree to an NDA.

I'd love to tell you what happens next, but I hit a website bug trying to accept the EULA. Darn.

The closed test kicks off on October 16, so keep an eye on your inboxes for further details.

Fable Legends is set 400 years before the events of the first game in the series, and has a team of four players exploring dungeons co-operatively. A fifth player controls various aspects of the dungeons. An Xbox One exclusive, it's expected in 2015 but has not been formally dated.
